This album is pretty special to me as it was the first full-length Flume project I listened to (listened to it when it dropped!) and it blew my 14 year-old mind. I also loved the companion EPs but my god is this a beast of an album.
I recently came back around to listening to this album last week and I am so glad that it still holds up for me. The production still floors me to this day - just so unique and otherworldly and has this sort of intangible quality to it that you won’t be able to find anywhere else (similar feeling I get from listening to Skrillex’s production).
I’m a huge fan of this being the pop crossover it is and I love how many of these songs really caught on in the mainstream, although the Vic Mensa feature definitely sticks out like a sore thumb to me now. Some of these songs are just so timeless, what a fantastic album. What a genius this guy is.
