March was a pretty good month. Being able to work from home almost the entire month allowed me to repay some of my sleep debt and actually get myself in the gym consistently again. Most importantly, I got to spend way more time with Liz and actually do stuff together. The month felt really long as a result of this - I was doing so much fun stuff everyday, and I can’t believe it’s already over (along with my WFH).

On the school side of things, the month kicked off with my midterms. My French midterm (LAF1201) went pretty smoothly - way better than I had anticipated, but my Stats midterm (ST2137) was less than ideal. I’m not exactly sure why I found it so difficult but then again I consistently struggle with using R in practical exams for some reason. The semester is ending and I am hoping to get my revision started earlier than usual this time. I need A’s for both these modules!

Health-wise, this is the fittest I’ve felt in a while. I’ve finally had the time to work out first thing in the morning, and have been able to consistently clock in about 3-4 workouts a week. I revamped my arm day workouts, and have been feeling so much better and seeing better results. Single arm tricep extensions where have you been all my life? What would really make my April would be my bench weight finally increasing a little.

I consumed a lot of media in March - specifically a lot of music. I’m trying to keep up with as many interesting new releases / artists as possible to avoid being tapped out from modern music and also stop the backlog from piling up. I specifically am making a conscious effort to listen to new releases because I find myself frequently defaulting to playlists I made when I was in JC, and while I do love these playlists and the songs in them, I never want to stagnate in terms of music taste. I want to keep discovering new albums and artists and singles and I want to get back to making playlists constantly like I used to. A lotttt of good music came out this month, the highlight probably being underscores - U (2026).

Liz and I also migrated our calendars from Timetree to Google Calendars instead, which has been hugely beneficial for my planning. I am, however, now struggling to figure out what to do with my Kokuyo (my physical planner), and I’ve stopped logging in it for a while. I find that I’ve shifted a lot of my planning online / to virtual spaces like Obsidian, and this is honestly my favorite of all the planning “setups” I’ve tried.

Overall, this was a really fun month, but I do acknowledge that I have really taken my foot off the gas school-wise, especially with my Stats mod, so I swear I WILL be getting back on that grind or whatever the kids say. Banger month over! Bangerer month incoming? 😈
